Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Videro ("Videro", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service, which turns your Twitch broadcasts into edited, ready-to-post videos. By using Videro, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Twitch account — when you sign in with Twitch, we receive your Twitch user ID, login name, display name, and avatar, and an access token used to list your past broadcasts.
- Connected accounts — if you connect YouTube (via Google), we receive your channel identity and access/refresh tokens so we can upload finished videos on your behalf. These tokens are stored encrypted.
- Stream content — the broadcasts you choose to convert. We download and process their video, audio, and chat to detect the best moments and render an edited video.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep a Stripe customer reference, your plan, and billing status.
- Usage data — the jobs you run, hours processed, storage used, and basic technical logs needed to operate the service.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: download, analyze, edit, and render your broadcasts, and upload them to YouTube if you connect it.
- To bill you and manage your subscription.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- To contact you about your account or important service changes.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI processing
To find moments and generate titles, we send portions of your broadcast — such as video frames, audio transcripts, and chat — to AI providers (currently Google Gemini, Anthropic, and Groq). They process this data to return results for your video. Your content is not used to train our own models.
Service providers
We rely on these providers to run Videro, each processing only what they need:
- Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
- Twitch and Google/YouTube — sign-in, broadcast access, and publishing.
- Fly.io (hosting), Neon (database), Upstash (job queue), and Cloudflare R2 (file storage).
- Google Gemini, Anthropic, and Groq — AI processing of your content as described above.
Data retention and storage
Your source and edited videos are stored so you can re-edit them. You control this in the dashboard: keeping a video editable stores its full stream, while "final-only" keeps just the finished cut and cannot be re-edited. We retain account and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can delete stored videos in the app at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect your Twitch or YouTube account at any time from the connections page.
- Delete stored videos from the dashboard to free space and remove that content.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@videro.pro.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, and we store connected-account tokens encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Videro is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date.
